Citizen Science Outing

When: Sun, October 6, 2019 from 7:00 am – 7:00 am Where: Cuyahoga Valley National Park Contact: Dane Contact Email: dane@natureknowledge.org Open Volunteer Spots: 49

Let’s explore! This family-friendly volunteer opportunity takes us to Ohio where we’ll be conducting an inventory of plant and animal species in a newly added section of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Join volunteer citizen scientists from around the country in this one-day event that’s sure to delight, challenge and inspire participants of all ages.

Accommodations are not provided but free tent camping is available for volunteers that would also like to spend a night in the park. Don’t forget to pack binoculars, food and a field notebook.

We look forward to seeing you and putting our identification skills to the test! Let’s join forces with park rangers and biologists to make sure this special place is conserved for future generations.

Do you know a teen between the ages of 16-18 that would love to spend even more time in our national parks? Tell them about the Cleaning and Greening Program!
